ELVIDA at the Kick-off of the zünder Accelerator 2026
Just over a week ago, the *zünder Accelerator kick-off took place at the Technopark Lucerne.
28 startups and around 40 founders came together – many different ideas, backgrounds, and perspectives. For us, it was particularly exciting to see how diverse the themes of the other teams are. Especially as a startup dealing with personal administration, documents, and structure in everyday life, you quickly gain new insights into topics like user behavior, product development, or go-to-market strategies.
After the first elevator pitches, it became clear how varied the topics are in this cohort. From deep tech to digital platforms to new approaches in traditional industries. This mix makes such programs exciting because you suddenly face challenges that you might not have even considered before.
What we particularly liked was the coaching format in small groups. Instead of traditional 1:1 coaching, you work with several startups and a coach together. For us as the ELVIDA team, this exchange was extremely helpful – especially because other founders often ask questions that you might not even consider when you’ve been deep in your own product for a long time.
Another highlight was the Q&A session with the zünder alumni. From the outside, the journey of a startup sometimes seems very straightforward – pitch, growth, success. It was all the more fascinating to hear the stories behind the scenes. Doubts, detours, and things they wish they had known earlier in their first year. These honest insights are incredibly helpful because they give you a more realistic picture of what can happen in the coming months.
Emmi Kavander's keynote also resonated with us. One point she emphasized was the KISS principle – Keep It Simple, Stupid. If we can’t clearly explain what we do at the self-ünder Accelerator, it will be even harder for others.
This struck a chord with us. ELVIDA deals with a complex topic – the structure of personal administration. Bills, contracts, insurance, deadlines, documents. Bringing all these things together and explaining them clearly is a challenge. That’s why it’s so important to continually check if we can really explain what we’re building in a simple way.
The day ended with an aperitif, many great conversations, and the first new connections between the startups.
A big thank you to the zünder team, the coaches, and the Technopark Lucerne for this strong start. We are very excited to be part of this year's accelerator with ELVIDA – and we can’t wait to see what emerges in the upcoming sessions. 🚀
