We have formed a partnership with ePost. For us, this is the most important step ELVIDA has taken since its launch – and one we have worked hard for.

Both belong together, and until now, that missing piece was exactly what was needed in between. From now on, you can connect your private ePost mailbox with ELVIDA, and your mail will come directly to us: collected, read, sorted, with deadlines in your calendar.

Why This Partnership

Switzerland has been digitizing its administration for years, yet individuals still sit at their kitchen tables in the evening sorting paper. The reason is rarely the technology. It lies in the fact that the individual pieces do not communicate with each other. A letter is delivered digitally and then processed manually again.

ePost has solved the transition from the physical mailbox to the digital one. We have solved the question of what happens next: Where does the document belong, what does it contain, and when does something need to be done by? Together, this creates a seamless chain, instead of two good solutions between which the user has to bridge the gap themselves.

Why ePost

Digitizing physical mail is not something you can build on the side. It involves logistics, scanning centers, and a handling of shipments that has been developed and tested over years. In Switzerland, only those who have been doing this for a long time can manage it. Therefore, we did not want to build a second solution for this, but rather connect with the one that already exists.

Two things spoke for ePost.

First, ePost is established in Switzerland and is used by people who need to trust their mail. We share this expectation. Those who entrust us with their documents do so not for a pretty interface, but because they count on everything staying in the right place.

Second: Both sides host in Switzerland and comply with Swiss data protection law. This was not a matter for negotiation for us, but a prerequisite. The connection exists solely between your mailbox and your ELVIDA account, and you can disconnect it at any time.
